Changes for Fall 2021
Uniforms included with 2nd-8th grade registrations
To make sure we can complete our uniform order on time and get our players outfitted for the first weekend of games, Williamston Soccer will be submitting the uniform orders directly for 2nd through 8th grade players. The price of uniforms is now included with registration.
Each player will be receiving the following:
- One green and one white jersey, including player number
- One training tee shirt, including player number
- One pair of black shorts
- One pair of black socks
During registration, you will be asked to submit your first and second choice for a player number. We will do our best to make sure every player gets their preferred number, which will be determined based on registration date.
There will be two events this summer to confirm uniform sizing.
9th grade and up uniforms will continue to be handled separately and is not included in registration fees. The registration system will ask about jersey numbers and sizing, but this information will not be used.
K-1 Youth Academy will continue to include a training tee shirt for each player.
Weekly technical training for 2nd – 8th grade
All players will be invited to weekly technical training with professional coaches from the mid-Michigan area. These sessions will focus on individual player skills and will be held on our own training fields. Our hope is that this provides an opportunity for our players to develop the skills that help them get more enjoyment out of training and games.
Forms management via online accounts for 2nd grade and up
2nd – 12th grade players will need to submit 3 forms, none of which are required to complete the registration.
We will now be using your online player accounts to help manage these forms, ensuring that we can get them submitted on time prior to the start of play in the fall and reducing the data security issues associated with sensitive documentation.
The proof of age and concussion forms can be attached to the player’s record in your account at any time. This must be done once in a player’s lifetime prior to the start of competitive play. After it is verified as received by CASL, we will remove the forms from this account for data security purposes.
The medical release form must be completed each season. Williamston Soccer will ask for this form to be attached to the record before the start of training for the season. Notarization is not required.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can my player register for the fall season only?
No, registration covers both fall and spring seasons.
Williamston Soccer believes in and encourages multi-sport athletes. There are always great things you can learn about soccer from other sports, and vice-versa. We also understand that it becomes a time crunch, especially for families, and the Spring season tends to be harder than the Fall. We ask that players who are in more than one sport try to split their time as evenly as possible between events.
During the winter months, we will be reconfirming each player’s intention to play during the spring so that our coaches can set their roster expectations and fill any open spots that may be available.
Is financial aid available?
Yes. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for details.
